    Folio 15d - William Osmond of Markegayt in the parish of Cadington made 5 Feb. 1543/4, pr. 16 June 1544. Burial in the churchyard of Cadington. To the high altar 4d.; to the mother church of Lincoln 2d.; to the bells 4d.; to the torches 4d.; to an honest priest to say 10 masses in the same church 3s. 4d.. Wife Margery to have all his household stuff. "Item of the howse that I dwell in for the spase of 2 yeres, 6s. a yere". To wife Margery 13s. 4d.. To son John "all my tolles" and all timber both hewn and unhewn. To son John's children 3s. 4d. and to John's son Thomas a coat. To son Raffe all wearing raiment except his cloak, which he gives to wife. To the Rood light 4d.. Residue to son Raffe and to John Wryght to use for the helath of testator's soul at the burial day, month day and year day, and John to have for his labour 3s. 4d.. Witnesses sir Thomas Elneston vicar, Nicholas Chapell, William Smyth.
