Folio 12d - John Geffray of Dunstable made 2 June pr. 16 June 1544. Burial in the churchyard of St. Peter in Dunstable. To the mother churchof Lincoln 2d.; to the high altar in Dunstable 2d., to the altar of St. George in the said church to be paid at St. George's day next for a mass to be sung there 4d.. To Jone Symson a mattress, a pair of sheets and a coverlet. To godson John Geffray a featherbed. "I geve to Agnnes my wyffe to John Rassh a quarter of barley to be delyveryd at the fest of All Sanctes nexte cumyng". To his sister Jone Whyte a silver spoon. To Thomas Brokett a featherbed. Residue to John Deremer and Em testator's wife who are executors. Thomas Butler supervisor, he to have a coat and a doublet. Witnesses John Platt curate, Richard Draper.
