- TitleFolio 7d - Thomas Gromont of Clophill made 13 May pr. 11 Oct. 1543. To son William the copyholding where testator dwells after death of testator and wife Agnes, and also all goods moveable and unmoveable, on condition that he pay their debts and "bryng our bodys onestely in erth". He is also to pay to his brother Symont 26s. 8d, which transaction is to be under the oversight of the parson and two or three honest men, and if the brothers cannot agree, the parson and testator's neighbours to settle it. Executors son William and Thomas Pegat, the latter to have 12d. for his work. Witnesses Robert Wytfilde, Richard Morrys, Symond Lawrens, William Stevens.
