Two photocopied press cuttings: - Sunday Telegraph 12 May: letter by Dom Alberic Stacpoole of Ampleforth Abbey stating that Henry's divorce was illegal and that his marriage to Katherine was never annulled by the Pope and that "all that followed was sin and destruction"; - The Times 14 May: article on a temporary export ban imposed on a treatise written in 1530 by Jacobus Calchus, Carmelite Friar, on whether a man might marry his deceased brother's wife, so that attempts might be made to purchase it for the nation; the manuscript had been traced back to the sale of the books of the Earl of Ailesbury in Nov 1687 from where it went into the collection of the 11th earl of Kent at Wrest Park where it remained until C20
