Church Court held at Oakley: Eton [?Socon] To clear himself from the charge of frequenting the house of John Cowrtman suspiciously, Thomas Jusse brought as compurgators Thomas Sylvester, Richard Mune and Thomas Gale, and the lord warned Thomas that in future he was not to frequent the house of John Cowrteman except in the presence of four other people, under pain of excommunication.
