Court held at Sowthill church 5 Feb. 1539/40. Temysford. Thomas Stevenson of the same place committed fornication with a certain Ezabella North, and the said Thomas appeared and admitted the charge and was ordered to do penance round the churchyard of Temysford on two Sundays, which he did. The said Ezabella was summoned, did not appear, and had taken flight and lived in London.
