    [f. 22] (see also ABP/R 6 f. 35) Alys Anglyssey, Marston Morten, made 2 May 1540, proved 2 Aug. 1540. Burial in the church yard of Marston Morten; to the high altar 4d.; to the Rood light 6d.. To her son George her worst mattress, her second bolster, 2 pair of harden sheets, her little pan, 2 platters (one better and one worse), a candlestick, a saucer, a tunning tub, a hive, her little coffer, a hanging for a bed, and one pillow. To her son William her dun cow, and son Thomas to have the profit of the cow to the use of William. To William also her second brass pot, her great brass pan, 2 harden sheets and a flaxen sheet, a towel, a blanket, 2 platters (one bigger and one smaller), one saucer, a pillow and a bolster. To daughter Agnes Mathew her best kirtle and the sleeves, her best kercher and best apron. To daughter Margret Bosworth her best gown, a kercher, a smock, an apron, a ewe and a lamb. To daughter Alys her cupboard, the coffer at the foot of testator's bed, her best mattress and best bolster, 2 pair of harden sheets, one pair of flaxen sheets, her best table cloth, a towel, her best brass pot, her second brass pan, her gallon kettle and 2 of her best platters (one bigger one lesser), the best saucer, the best candlestick, her skimmer, the little trivet, a tunning tub, a hive, a smock and a kercher, 2 pillows, the best she will take, the best bed hangings, the table that stands in the loft, a form, a woollen wheel, testator's hechell [heckell], a pair of sheers, her best blanket, her hewed cow, the barrell which is with Fethers and a kimnel. To Alys Alysday wife to Thomas Anglysey a bed hanging, a kercher, a smock, an apron and a pillow. 20s to be idistributed at her burial. Residue to son Thomas Anglysey, sole executor, and to Robert Odill the Supervisor, to use for souls of testator, her husband and all Christians.
