- TitleLetter from Henry P.Powell at 148 Leadenhall Street, London to John Thomas Green "As it appears you have been away from Woburn you are probably unaware that Mr.Upcher has already directed his Bankers to send us forms of assent to conversion, and the same course has also been pursued by Mr.Birch. I wrote to you some three weeks ago, thinking you would wish to take early steps in this matter on conversion but not hearing from you I signed the forms sent me by Mr.Upcher & Mr.Birch's order and I cannot very well now stultify myself by signing fresh ones. You can however put yourself in communication with Gurneys & Roopers and no doubt will be able to get 1/2 commission. I am leaving town today and shall not be back for some time"
