Do not you sometimes in your Practice come across a good first charge mortgage with plenty of margin of course it is no part of a Trustee's business to look out for investments for the Trust but as you are Solicitor to the Trust I have always abstained from looking out or getting my own Solicitor to look out for a safe investment for the Trust Fund instead of Consols. Of course the present movement will cause a serious reduction in my Income. Most horrible weather a gale from NE and most bitterly cold As far as I have any Mem there are £10471.5.2 Consols and £24605.8.9 new 3% to be dealt with and I imagine notice given"
