Letter from John Latham at Congleton [Cheshire] to John Thomas Green: "I am in receipt of your letter of the 9th inst herein. Proceedings have been commenced in Chancery by the Mortgagee against the Trustees one of whom Mr.Cobb is represented by Mr.Hy Reade Solicitor Congleton. I am making out accounts extending over some years relating to the estate for Mr.Reade which will be delivered shortly & when he has gone through them he will no doubt advise Mr.Cobb to execute the Conveyance. Cannot you see your way to accept the Conveyance already entered by the trustees accompanied by a Deed of Confirmation by the Mortgagee this would be the means of stopping all the proceedings instituted by the Mortgagee"
