    Mortgage i) Ebenezer Hitchcock Barber, Biggleswade, bootmaker (one of members of the Sandy and District Permanent Mutual Benefit Building Society) ii) Said Building Society i) has requested ii) to lend him £250 in respect of 5 shares he holds in the said Building Society numbered 67, 68, 69 439 and 440, to be repaid by 120 monthly instalments of £2 19s 5d from 4 October 1880. Now in consideration of £250 paid to i) by ii) i) covenants to surrender into hands of Lord of Manor of Bigleswade: - property as in Schedule to use of ii). To be void on payment of £2 19s 5d on first Monday in every month Power of sale given in case of default in payments for 3 months Buildings to be insured against fire in joint names of i) and ii) If money received by forced sale shall not discharge the amount owing in full then interest shall be payable by i) on the balance at 7% p.a.
