    Manor of Bigleswade In consideration of £75 paid by James Barber, Biggleswade, shoemaker, Jemima Emery had surrendered into hands of Lord of the Manor - undivided 1/3rd part of --- 2 tofts etc and cottage many years since erected on it in Holme Street, Biggleswade --- several other messuages etc erected thereon by Samuel Barber, deceased, father of Jemima Emery, now in occupation of Thomas Taylor, - Layton, Elizabeth Reed, James Barber, John Phillips and James Robinson to the use of James Barber subject to conditional surrender of 1 February 1830 to secure £125 Now James Barber is admitted tenant to said undivided 1/3rd part yearly rent - 4d Note in margin as to sale of common right belonging to the premises to Mr George Newbury on 28 April 1843
