- TitleAffidavit in answer to defendant's affidavit by Mary Ann Ricketts in Chancery Case 1886.P.1068 Mary Ann Ricketts Plaintiff and Thomas Lingard Green, John Thomas Green and Charles Dymoke Green, Defendants, stating: - she was the plaintiff; - she had read the affidavit of John Thomas Green [see HN10/273/Paxton12]; - she had applied many times to John Green for her share and well remembered applying for money about 34 years before when her mother was ill and again when her sister was ill about 21 years before and on both occasions John Green put off saying "I have not got all the Estate in but will write to you when I am ready for you"; - she had never heard more from John Green; - John Green had never told her that the estate was insolvent; - in Sep 1852 she received from John Green £2 and believed her sister had received the same, on account of interest on a loan to Sir G.C.P.Turner; - in Nov 1852 she received £9 from John Green out of some money received from Sir Gregory C.Page Turner's executors; - she had received nothing in addition to the £2 and £9 out of Thomas Paxton's estate
