    Will, codicil and probate of Thomas Paxton of Milton Bryan, victualler Will of 12 Apr 1823: - all personal estate, stock in trade etc. to Thomas Paxton of Potsgrove, farmer and Joseph King of Milton Bryan, farmer as trustees to permit his wife to occupy the premises and carry on the business whilst a widow provided she educate and support his children; an inventory of the premises to be made; - if his wife died, remarried or left the premises they were to be sold by the trustees and invested in the same way as monies owed to him at his death; - all monies owed to him at his death to be got in and invested, up to £50 being given to his wife if she wished it to carry on the business of victualler, the rest, on the last of his children attaining 21 being divided into five parts, one fifth to his wife, two fifths to his son and one fifth to each of his daughters; - witnesses T.E.Rotherham of Eversholt and John Green of Woburn, solicitor Codicil of 11 May 1823: - revocation of Thomas Paxton as executor and trustee replacing him with John Green of Woburn, gentleman; - witnesses Richard Green of Milton Bryan and Robert Garrod of Milton Bryan Probate in Archdeaconry of Bedford 3 Oct 1823
