The premium is payable on the signing of the indentures. It will be quite safe if you send us a cheque by post, crossing it Barclay Bevan & Co and marking it "not negotiable". If you will send us your son's full name, age and place of birth, we will have the indentures prepared. We note your wish to have him placed with one of the Bakers should the opportunity occur".
