Letter from W.Timbrell Elliott of 5 Verulam Buildings, Grays Inn, London to Frederic William Tanqueray: "In reply to your query - the premises described at Fo[lio] 3 of the Abstract are those referred to as "3rdly described premises" in the Deed. It is actually so stated in the Deed. In the Abstract the word "thereby" has I see been substituted for "thirdly". Read (Fo.3) "being the freehd messes & heredits thereinbefore mentioned to be thirdly therein described". No doubt Mr.& Mrs.Osborn were buried at Toddington all deeds will be delivered to the purchaser that are in Vendor's possession. John Harris is a yearly tenure at £11 per an. George Lane - yearly tenure at £4 per an. Joseph Farmer weekly - 2/- Thomas Bonner @ 1/6 Mrs.Creak @ 1/6 Mrs.Bates @ 1/6"
