Reciting: - Intended marriage between (i) and Elizabeth Abbott alias Phillipps, spinster, daughter of the said John Abbott alias Phillipps. Operative: - In consideration of the intended marriage and £50 (i) conveys (a-d) to (ii). Property: (a) Messuage and Inn known as the Swan at Ampthill in or near Woburn Street and close adjoining of 1a. (b) Cottage formerly in the occupation or tenure of Richard Robinson. (c) Cottage formerly in the occupation or tenure of Margaret Palmer, widow. (d) All houses, buildings, Smith's Forge or shop formerly in the occupation of William Wheeler. All which premises at Ampthill are abutted on E by Town Hall or Moot Hall; W by the way & common; S by the Way leading from Ampthill to Woburn and N by the messuage and grounds of William Tomlinson.
