Will dated 23 Feb 1901: - Appointing William Cooper of Westoning, Wood End, farmer executor & trustee. - Giving £100 to William Cooper to invest and pay and apply income for benefit of Frederick Smith, grandson of late husband's brother Joseph George Spring until he attains age of 21 and after to Frederick Smith; £150 to Alice Cooper sister of William Cooper; £200 to Joseph George Spring; £100 to Emily Bishop wife of Frederick Bishop; £150 to Jane Ward of Church Farm, Pulloxhill; £100 to Cousin John Holdstock of Luton, dairyman; £100 to Bedford Infirmary and all residue of property to William Cooper. Witnessed by R. Plummer of Flitwick, widow & R. Hobourn of Woburn, clerk to Mr. Tanqueray, solcitor. Codicil dated 23 Aug 1906 whereby the legacy of £200 to husbands brother was revoked and the additional legacies of £50 to Clara Jane Holdstock of Dame Street Farm, Luton & £50 to Sarah Ann Willey of Flitwick was bequeathed. Witnessed by William Billington of Flitwick, market gardener & R. Hobourn.
