Copy letter from H.W.Clark at 6 Albert Place, Priory 24 Grove, South Lambeth [Surrey] to Mr.Horwood: "In reply to yours of the 17th inst I beg to say that the Letter you sent me as mentioned has never reached me. With respect to the Man Tyler, shall be glad if you will see into the matter for me, he has told me that he will not pay me, as there is no proper Landlord to the place, and he is now 3 months in arrear to the 19th of the month, you may perhaps be able to use means to get him out also Mr.Swift of No.5 Milton Place, who has paid me nothing for 21 weeks & will never see me, & the Children has pulled the place all to pieces, do not fail to see into these 2 the others pay pretty well. I enclose you the Sanitary Inspector's Notice which the Tenant [sic] do not wish to have done at present, has [sic] they are all still very bad but will attend to it as quietly as possible apologizing for not replying before"
