Letter from William John Tranah at 113 Fenchurch Street, London to William Henry Smith: "Herewith I beg to hand you Prospectus of a Society with which I am connected and desire to bring it under you notice as an investment of a first class character for any of your Friends or Clients to whom you might introduce it. I have been hoping to get a day to run down and explain the matter to you fully as I can make it a matter of business for any assistance you can render. If I can get a day after Easter week I will endeavour to see you if not I will write you fully explaining the matter and in the mean time you can look the matter carefully over. I must apologize for not sending Cheque for Mrs.Wakelin's Interest but intended to bring it with me. If I find I cannot leave Town next week I will forward it at once"
