Letter from Charles M.Turney of Aspley Guise to John Green [?] "I have been prevented calling on you respecting the property at Tebworth. The Deeds are at your Office. Both Mr.& Mrs.H.Sear are dead. We, James Turney & Charles M.Turney are Mortgagees for £300, with four years interest £60 making £360. I have sold the property to Thomas Pratt Baker Tebworth for £360 & agree to left £250 remain on the property in mortgage to selves (Charles M.Turney) he having to pay down £110. I had no written agreement from Mrs.Sear before she died. Will you provide the deed of Mortgage between us & Pratt as soon as possible. I hope to be at Woburn on Friday & will call for any further Communication required"
