    Letter from Caroline Cooper Cooper at St.James', Toddington to Frederic Tanqueray : " You will I know be sorry to hear of my severe illness. I am now confined to my bed & not allowed to see or speak to any one for any time. I cough blood comes up. I want so much to see my little affair settled & have come to the conclusion[?]of leaving my Household goods, furniture, pictures, linen &c to my nephew William S.Cooper Cooper except my jewels. These articles I have marked with the names of the other members of the family [unreadable] toilets & I hope he will give a few clean ornaments to my other nephews & Nieces. I do not wish or [unreadable] any thing to be sold, given away or exchanged all to go to Edith after his death & to her second little girl Evelyn Warren Vernon. All my Pearls & Diamonds to go in the same way & also the Beautiful necklace I gave Edith. Of course any old rellicts [?] may be sold. £10 to Annie Walford. £5 to Mr.Harris. 1 shilling each to old Wesley [?] unreadable, Maria Mead & [unreadable] Randall [unreadable]. If you could draw out some little safe [unreadable] for me to sign for me one in the [unreadable] can do it & [unreadable] should I ever get out [unreadable] our affairs [unreadable]"
