(iii) Robert Michael White of Ampthill, Beds, solicitor's clerk. Reciting: - Conveyance dated 21st Mar 1870 between (1) Edward Two and (2) Sarah Martha Two. - Marriage between Sarah Martha Two & Thomas Stevens on the 1st Mar 1878 at Kempston Parish Church. - Mortgage dated 11th Mar 1891 between (1) Sarah Martha Stevens and (2) (i). - Sarah Martha & Thomas Stevens had seven children of whom the said Edward James Stevens was the eldest. - Sarah Martha Stevens died on the 26th Nov 1900 and letters of administration for her estate were granted to her son Thomas Stevens at Northampton District Probate Registry on the 14th Feb 1902. Operative: In consideration of £240 (ii) with the consent of (i) conveys (a) to (iii). Property: (See attached plan) (a) Eight cottages with buildings and gardens in the Parish of Ridgmont, bounded on W by property of Mr Willis and the road leading to Ridgmont Station (Station Road), E by Property of Mrs Thomason and S by Lidds Lane [Lydds Hill] now in the respective occupation of W. Line, William Mead, Mrs Pilgrim George Odell, John Geary, John Goss & William Dawson. Habendum: Unto and to the use of (iii) discharged from recited mortgage. Witnessed by Conquest & Clare, solicitors of Bedford and C.B. Halliley of Bedford.
