(Trustees under the will of John Read deceased). (ii) Ethel Maud Franklin the wife of Albert Franklin of Houghton Conquest, Beds, farmer. Reciting: - Will of John Read dated 23rd Mar 1846, codicil dated 11th Apr 1846 whereby (a) was devised to his son in law William Robinson Roberts and Mary Ann Roberts his wife. - John Read died on the 29th May 1846 and his will was proved on the 1st Aug 1846. - William Robinson Roberts died Sep 1854. - Seven children were born from this marriage: Marion Roberts, Charles William Roberts, Alfred William Roberts, Emma Mary Thackway, Louisa Ann Roberts, Eliza Victoria Wright and Wilhelmina Louisa Turner. - Mary Ann Roberts intermarried with the said Charles Riddle on the 25th Aug 1858 and died on the 29th Dec 1908 and three children were born of this marriage: Harriet Roberts Robert's, Louisa Roberts and Charles Tom Riddle. - Marion Roberts died on the 7th Aug 1882, spinster and intestate leaving the said Alfred William Roberts her heir at law. - Louisa Ann Roberts died on the 23rd May 1850 spinster and intestate leaving her father William Robinson Roberts her heir at law who dying as aforesaid intestate left the said Alfred William Roberts his heir a law. - Louisa Roberts Riddle died on the 7th Jul 1862 spinster and intestate leaving her father the said Charles Riddle her heir at law. Operative: - In consideration of £240 (i) conveys (a) to (ii). Property: (See attached plan) (a) Garden land at Moor Lane, Maulden containing 4a in the occupation of Stokes (coloured pink on attached plan and referred to as White Hart garden). Bounded on N by Ampthill Road and the White Hart Inn. Habendum: - Unto and to the use of (ii).
