    Folio 110d Thomas Leche of Langford made 1541, proved 1 Dec. 1541 Burial in the church yard of St. Andrew in Langford. To the high altar for tithes forgotten 3s. 4d.; to the mother church of Lincoln 2d.. To his wife Elzabeth £6 13s. 4d., and if the child she carries lives, then the child to have £6 13s. 4d., but if it die before it comes of age, then wife to have £3 6s. 8d. more, to make her legacy £10. To wife 2 milch beasts and 4 hogs, and all testator's household stuff. If she will give 10s. for the other cow, then she is to have that also. To testator's father 3s. 4d.. To master the vicar, who is to be Overseer, 3s. 4d.. His brother Nicholas is to have his best coat. If his wife and the child she bears both die, then the goods are to be used for the souls of testator and his wife and others, at the discretion of the testator's father and master the vicar. Wife Elzabeth and testator's father Nicholas [?]Hormede, executors, to see to the work for souls, and to have the residue. Witnesses Thomas Stryngar and William Wallys, men of the same parish.
