    Testament Burial in the church of All Hallows in Lytlington "nyghe to my wyffes pewe", and to the church for his burial 3s. 4d.. For his mortuary as the law requires; to the high altar for tithes forgotten 3s. 4d.. To his dau. Anne £20 towards her marriage, and should she die before marriage, the money is to be divided between testator's sons William and John, and if they die then the money to go to testator's wife to find an honest priest to sing for the souls of the testator, his father and mother, and all Christians for 2 years, and 4 marks of the money to be given to poor folks among the kindred of testator and his wife, to pray for souls. To son William when he comes out of his "prentesed" (apprenticeship) £10 to make him a stock, and should William die before then, the money to go to testator's wife. To Richard Caynhoo and Anne his sister 20s. each, over and above testator's mother's legacy to them. To Clemens Nele 20s. and a cow. To dau. Elzabeth Yngoldesbe 20s., as a remembrance to pray for testator, and to each of her children 6s. 8d.. Testator's brother sir Richard Caynhoo is to be asked to pray for the testator and his friends for half a years, and he is to have 4 marks. Residue to wife Agnes, sole executrix. Overseer Master Thomas Decons, to whom 20s.. Will All his lands and tenements in Goldington (after the death of his wife) to go to his eldest son William, according to a deed of feoffment made by testator's father to Richard Decons esquire, Thomas Decons of Colmorth and others. His wife is to have the lands and tenements in Leighton both free and copyhold until son John come to the age of 22, according to a surrender made into the hands of William Holand, under- bailiff, in the presence of two of the lord's tenants, according to the custom there. Should John die, then the lands are to go to William, testator's eldest son, and his heirs, and should William die then all lands and tenements to revert to the right heirs of testator. Testator has written this in his own hand, and set his seal to it.
