Scope and Content
His body to be buried in the church yard of Our Lady of Malden.
To his wife Agnes 2 kine, 20 sheep, all the household stuff, and the house that she dwells in for her lifetime, and then the house is to go to testator's son John. To son John a bullock and 60 sheep. To dau. Cristian a cow and 60 sheep and a bullock. To the six of his godchildren whom his executors think most in need 6 sheep. To Gelys/Jelys Tayler/Taler a sheep.
To brother Richard Moody/Mody 60 sheep, to be used to cover the cost of his funeral and debts, and if they are not sufficient then Richard is to take more sheep from the legacies, and he is to be sole executor.
Witnesses Edward Phyllippe clerk and parson of Moldon/Malden, Robert Davy weaver, Thomas Jelys tailor.
