    "I commende my soull to almeghtie god my maker and Redemer". Burial in the church yard of Stodham; to the high altar of Stodham 2d.. Half of his goods to his wife Jelyan and the other half to his two children William and Alys. To his kinsman Richard, who is a child and living with the testator, a sheep worth 20d.. To son William the lease of testator's house for the remainder of the term, and should William die, then the lease to go to his dau. Alys, though his wife is to hold the lease for 10 years, keeping the house in repair. Should both children die, then remainder of the lease to be sold and the money used for the souls of the testator, his friends and all Christians, to the value of 20s.. Executrix wife Jelyan.
