    Burial in the parish church yard of St. Swythune in Sanday. To the high altar 3s. 4d., to the Rood light 3s. 4d., and to the bells 12d.. To wife Joane 3 beasts, 40 sheep, 12 quarters of malt, half his household stuff. Should his wife not remain with testator's son John, then she is to have his copholding held of St. John of Jerusalem to live in for her lifetime. To his dau. Alys so many sheep as to make 40 with her own, and 3 cow bullocks of 2 years old, 10 quarters of barley and 40s. in money, 2 pots and a pan and a coffer, all to be delivered on the day of her marriage, but she is to have the increase in her flock of sheep dating from testator'' burial. To servant Richard Allerton a sheep. To Katering Fylde a sheep. To the highways of Gretford Stret where most need is 6s. 8d.. His executor is to keep an annual obit to cost 6s. 8d. a year. His executors are to give every person in the parish who is present at his burial 1d.. Executors wife Jone and son John.
