Scope and Content
Burial in church yard of St. Peter the Apostle in Flytwike. To the high altar 6d.; to the bells 12d.; to the Sepulchre light 6d. or a pound of wax; to the mother church of Lincoln 4d..
To Joanne Barne dau. of his son Richard Barne a pot and a pan. To Margret Barne another dau of son Richard a pair of sheets and a chafer. To kinsman William Barne 3 butts of rye lying together at the end of the Kinges Wodd. To son Richard Barne 2 steers to be given him after testator's wife has sown her crop, and half of testator's crop of rye now sown. Testator's wife Agnes is to have the other half of his crop of rye, the crop to be divided between the two in the sight of 2 or 3 of their neighbours at harvest time. His barley crop to be divided in like manner between Agnes and Richard. Richard is to find seed for his half and "ere" it at his cost and charge. Son Richard to pay towards testator's burial 4s..
