    "I bequeth my soull to Almeghtie God". Burial in the church yard of All Hallowes in Sutton. To the high altar for tithes forgotten 4d.. 4d. each to the Sepulchre light, the bells, the bridge and Our Lady of Lincoln. To his godson Thomas Yelynge a bushel of barley. To his son Robert Love a quarter of barley. To his dau. Elzabeth Yelyng 4 bushel of barley. To his dau. Anne 8d.. To his servant John a bushel of barley. His wife Alys is to have the house where they dwell for her life time. After her death Henry Howden of Dunton with the church wardens of Sutton are to sell the house and appurtenances, and to buy with the money "certen beasts" which are to be "kepte in substancyall mens handes". The income from the beasts is to be used to keep an obit for the souls of the testator and his friends every year for 6s. 8d., of which each church warden to have 4d., and the rest distributed after the common custom of the town. At the same time 6s. 8d. is to be given to each of his 3 children under the supervision of Henry Dowden and the churchwardens, his children all to be heirs of one another. The rest of his goods are to go to his wife Alys and to John Harwod "my wiffes sonne in law" who are to be executors, and Henry Howden to be Overseer, he to have 3s. 4d..
