    Draft Transfer of Mortgage Parties: (i) George Franklin Jefferson now of Brandon Manitoba, Dominion of Canada, farmer. (ii) Frederic Thomas Tanqueray of Woburn, Beds, solicitor & Thomas Mickleston Warren of 175 Tottenham Court Road, London, restaurant proprietor. Reciting: - Supplement to mortgage dated 2nd Jan 1871 between J.B Gates and Jane Austen whereby certain leasehold hereditaments at Penge, Surrey were conveyed to J. Austin by way of mortgage for securing £1200 and interest. - Supplement to transfer of mortgage dated 29th Apr 1884 (endorsed on above) and made between Joseph Parke, William Francis Holcroft & Austin Warren. - Will of Austin Warren (see HN10/361/Warren4) whereby William Langlay and G.F. Jefferson were appointed trustees. - Austin Warren died 26 Mar 1885, William Langley died Jan 1899 and the said sum of £1200 was still owing on recited mortgage. Operative: - (i) transfers the principal sum of £1200 and interest owing on the security of the recited indentures to (ii). (i) assigns (a) to (ii) as security for the mortgage. Property: (a) Leasehold hereditaments at Penge, Surrey. (probably Whitley House). Habendum: - To hold unto (ii) subject to the usual mortgage provisos for redemption. Witnessed by G.B. Coleman, notary public of Brandon Manitoba, Canada.
