Extracts from the minutes of Sandy parish committee 9th April 1900 giving the monthly statement of scavenging showing that 1721 houses were visited in the day time at the average cost of 1 and a half pence per house and 3s6 and a half pence per load: while at night 768 houses were visited, the average cost being 5 pence per house and 6s5d per load. Tenders were received. and from the minutes of a meeting of the 10th April 1900 accepting the tender of Mr Josiah Odell, Brickhill, Sandy.
