  • Title
File on relationship with BBC Television including: - BBC TV news programme Nationwide, ostensibly about the Stage II Roskill Hearing in Bedford in which BARA claimed that undue bias was shown towards Thurleigh Emergency Committee for Democratic Action (TECDA), a pro-airport organisation, at BARA's expense; complaints included: three quarters of air time being given to TECDA; untrue statements by TECDA going unchallenged; and the impression that TECDA was better organised and supported than BARA; - BBC TV news programme 24 Hours which, in the opinion of Francis Schuster Ltd, BARA's publicity consultants, showed less bias - though handwritten notes and a letter to Francis Schuster show that BARA itself did not agree with this opinion.
