Sold at auction by Swaffield & Son on the 29TH May 1913: (Please see deeds at HN10/367/Morris2 for plan of lots 1-8 and HN10/367/Morris3 for plan of lot 10) Lot 1: Situate at East End, Flitwick; building land having frontage to main road and adjoining the Crown Inn [off junction of Station Road & Maulden Road], with a return frontage to Gravel Pit Lane and containing 14p. Lot 2: Similar lot containing 24p. Lot 3: Similar lot containing 24p. Lot 4: Similar lot containing 24p. Lot 5: Similar lot containing 24p. Lot 6: Similar lot containing 24 ½ p. Lot 7: Similar lot containing 25p. Lot 8: Similar lot having frontage to public footpath facing South and containing 63p. Lot 9: Heap of gravel adjoining the Crown Inn. Lot 10: Old sward land in Ampthill; close to running waters and having frontage to main road leading from Ampthill to Steppingley [Froghall Road] of 1a 1r 18p as now in the occupation of Mr. E. Edwards. Note: Seven of these sale catalogues were contained within this bundle each with a different memorandum containing information on the purchaser of the lot(s). Only one sample catalogue has been kept although the information from each memorandum is transcribed herewith: Lots 1 & 2: Purchased by Alfred Barnes of East End, Flitwick for £40. Lots, 3,4,5,6,7 & 8 purchased by Alfred Barnes of East End, Flitwick for £150. Lot 10: Purchased by William Billington of Ampthill for £100.
