Smith dated 17th Dec 1912 informing Mr. Tanqueray that the overseers of the poor of Woburn will not oppose the appeal of (i) to the Quarter Session. - Special meeting of Woburn Parish Council on the 18th Dec 1912 where it was decided that the Council would not oppose the appeal 'it is understood that the Assessment Committee will not oppose the application and as there is no opposition council it is requested to ask the Court to alter the rate in accordance with the notice of appeal'. - Recorded oaths sworn by David James, clerk to F.T.
