Notice to pay off mortgages from Frederick ThomasTanqueray, solicitor to Sidney Woodward, Maulden, Beds, market gardener 'You have failed to observe and keep the covenants contained in the indenture of mortgage dated the 29th Sep 1910 and in the indenture of further charge dated the 1st Dec 1910 respectively made between William Woodward of the one part and the Most Noble Herbrand Arthur 11TH Duke of Bedford K.G on the other part and also in an indenture of conveyance dated 24th Jan 1913 and made between Alfred Ewen, the said Duke of Bedford, Edward George Woodward and you the said Sidney Woodward'. I as solicitor for and on behalf of the said Duke of Bedford require you to pay before the expiration of three calendar months the principal monies and interest, and I hereby give you notice that if you make default in such payment the said Duke of Bedford will thereafter proceed to sell the hereditaments and premises comprised in the said indentures'.
