Letter from H.Cory of 30 Lonsdale Square, Barnsbury, London to Henry Wesley, tailor of 89 Park Street, Luton: "My Client Mr.Collins of Minster Road, Stamford Hill informs me that you have agreed to purchase the house which he is entitled to and also the piece of Land adjoining for the sum of 275 and that you have paid the sum of 10 on account. I enclose you abstract of title and having regard to the fact that you are so well acquainted with the property I would suggest that I act not only for Mr.Collins but for yourself, if however you desire to have your own solicitor I shall be glad if you will let me know his name and address as I desire to communicate with him. Please reply by return of post as my client is anxious to get the matter settled at an early date."
