Letter from John Meager at Cranfield to John Thomas Green: - "I seen Mr.J.Bosten of Crawley yesterday, Thursday he said that the party would have the money in 1 fortnight he asked me if I had got the deeds I told him you would write for them and forward them to me. I suppose if I sign my name when he pays the money that will be all that is necessary if Mr.Savage sign his. I told him it was pity his Brother did not try and get is [sic] of the same party it would be better than selling now as property makes so little he said that he would write to him and get hi to come up and see the party"
