Letter from R.H.Plater of 41 Southampton Buildings, Chancery Lane, London, solicitor to John Thomas Green: - " By a letter which I received this morning from Mr.Meager of Cranfield I am informed that my future communications should be made to you respecting the redemption of two mortgages made by Mr.Josiah Bosten & others & Mr Abel Bosten & others for 50 each to Mr.Henry Savage now decd. The Mortgaged Property is situate at North Crawley I understand that notice to redeem has been given to the Mortgagors I shall be glad to hear from you on the subject of the redemption the Mortgage money being wanted in order to close the trusts under the Testator's Will" - annotated with notes that Abel Bosten could not pay but Josiah was making arrangements to pay.
