Letter from John Thomas Green at Ampthill Brewery to Frederic Thomas Tanqueray: - "Went to Luton, have determined to take possession. I return tomorrow morning about 11-30 for the purpose of preparing authority to Eve notices to Tenants. Warrant of Distress &c have been arranged with Eve what he is to do. I think Eve is a bit shakey [sic[ in his idea of value. I have drafted Letters to Lockhart which I intend him to rece a short time after Eve has put in his distress. We think we can see sufficient goods in one of the Sheds to pay arrears. Eve does not like or trust Lockhart
