Draft affidavit by William Buttfield Hill, retired farmer, regarding his sister Sarah Ann's purchase of annuity and proving her age [see HN10/276/Hill8]: - Sarah Ann Hill of Fenny Stratford [Buckinghamshire] was his eldest sister; - they were both baptised together with their brothers and sisters by Michael Castleden, minister of Independent Chapel in Woburn on 15 Jul 1823; - their father Joseph was an Independent Methodist and their mother Sarah a Baptist; they lived at Newport Pagnell [Buckinghamshire] for some time after his birth; they had a difference of opinion about infant baptism but when they moved to Potsgrove they joined the Independent Chapel and all children were baptised there; - endorsed with beginning of a clearly unrelated note of Honour of Ampthill coroner's inquest at Bird in Hand, Shillington [no names or details given]
