My terms to your friend for examining the Accounts & reporting upon the Property referred to would be Ten Guineas & expences [sic] out of pocket beyond & should he decide to purchase I should expect to value on his behalf either at a fixed Fee or 2% commission in the valuation. I trust these terms will meet with his approval. Glad to hear things are going well with you & that all your family are well. Am pleased to say we have not had much cause to complain"
