Letter from Mary Goodman at Bedford to John Thomas Green at Woburn: - "I am happy to say that I am much better, and am now able to attend to business. I must trouble you for money. I should also like to see the particulars of the sale, which Mr.Swaffield never sent to me, so I suppose he sent it to you. Surely by this time you know how Mr.F.Draycott means to act: not forgetting Mr.Miller of Aspley. When convenient I should also like to know what we are indebted to you and the Queen, what remains and how to dispose of it. If the weather becomes mild, and I continue pretty well, I could if necessary, visit Mr.Stopp for a day or two and then get to Woburn. I trust Mr.Green is well he intends coming soon but I could not wish to see him here till we see a favourable change in the weather. Excuse me if I seem unreasonable"
