I received the 50 off you and was to return 25 if the stone sis not suit you (as agreement). You wrote me on 26 Feb 1885 stating that you did not intend working the stone further, consequently you are entitled to the 25 less for payment of Stone &c. I am prepared to settle with you any time on fair and business like terms. If you are not satisfied I must refer you to my Solicitor J.T.Green esquire. Woburn, Beds."
