Bundle of correspondence concerning a dispute between John Barnard Esq (tenant) and Col Wheatley (landlord). Barnard is leaving Studhambury Farm and is asking the incoming tenant, Mr Thorpe, to pay for dung left in the yard. Col Wheatley believes the dung belongs to the farm. Barnard also maintains he has the right to use two rooms in the house until Lady Day, yet Wheatley denies this. The correspondence also concerns a sale Mr Barnard holds at the Farm before quitting. Also selling livestock and implement at the sale are Mr H Bettesnorth, Mr J Hughes and Mr A Hillier.
