Robinson states that Fountaine claims that he (Fountaine) has been unfairly treated by a Mr Higgins and that he (Fountaine) was unable to get paint and tar when he applied for it. Wigley denies both of these assertions, 21 - 24 November 1908. (xi) Letter: Weston to Merry stating that by corresponding with Wigley and not telling him that Merry was acting as umpire, Robinson has breached arbitration contract, 28 November 1908. (xii) Award: A W states that W E Fountaine is entitled to receive 54-1-5 from C Ibbott as compensation in respect of improvement comprised in the first schedule to the award and a further 126-1-1 from C Ibbott in respect of claims mentioned in the second schedule to the award. Also that C Ibbott is entitled to receive 38-8-3 from W E Fountaine in respect of claims mentioned in the third schedule to the award, 23 December 1908 (1 copy plus draft).1908. (xiii) Further correspondence between Robinson, Weston and Merry. Robinson believes there to be a clerical error in the award and is desirous of a further sub-division of the award, while Weston is unwilling to commit himself to further correspondence until he has received Ibbott's cheque, 30 December 1908 - 4 March 1909.
