(iv) Letter: J Littleboy to A W Merry, explaining that he has made a note of Merry's offer on Church Farm and will reply as soon as he has contacted his trustees, 1 June 1899. (v) Letter: B J Forder & Son to A W Merry, stating that he is willing to pay 30 per acre for the land and would like permission to sink holes to see what's underground, 6 June 1899. (vi) Letter: Cumberland & Hopkins to A W Merry, suggesting an amount Mr Hawkins might pay for the rent of his field, 8 June 1899. (vii) Letter: Cumberland & Hopkins to A W Merry, suggesting that if Merry's clients make an offer of 35 per acre for the Stanbridge land, he will urge his clients to agree, 24 June 1899. (viii) Letter: Cumberland & Hopkins to A W Merry, stating that his clients will not accept anything less than 35 per acre for the Stanbridge land, 27 June 1899. (ix) Letter: Cumberland & Hopkins to A W Merry, agreeing to Merry's offer of 35 per acre for the Stanbridge land, 4 July 1899. (x) Letter: Cumberland & Hopkins to A W Merry, agreeing to the proposal of holes being dug in the Stanbridge land, 5 July 1899.
