Lease Parties: (i) Thomas Halsey of St.Ives [Huntingdonshire], grocer and Mary, his wife; (ii) Thomas Redman of Cardington, yeoman Operative Part: - (i) leased (a)-(j) to (ii) for 6 years from 26 Mar 1721 for 55/10/- per annum rent Property: (a) messuage in Cardington formerly in occupation of William Bull, gentleman, deceased; (b) 116a 2r 0p of arable in Cardington; (c) 2a 2r 0p of meadow in Cardington Meadow and Long Leys; (d) one acre of meadow in The Wards; (e) close of pasture called Overway Close; (f) little close or pightle called Reek Yard Pightle; (g) close of pasture called Walnut Tree alias Green Close; (h) close called Kittleswell Close; (i) close called Nunn Leys; (j) close called Bridge Close (b)-(j) all formerly in occupation of William Bull, deceased Witnesses: - Robert Robinson; - William Arch Endorsement: " Whereas it is agreed in the lease within written that the within named Thomas Redman shall take off his cropp of graine that shall bee growing upon the said premises at the End of the said Terme & also shall have the Use of the Barnes &c there to lay the same in for one yeare and a quarter after the End of the said Terme Now I the said Thomas Redman Doe hereby Agree to pay to the within named John White half a yeares rent for the said premises at Michaelmas following the End of the Terme I having paid but half a yeares rent for the first Yeare I held the said premises" witnessed by Michael Dymoke and Joseph Wiffin
