Copy will of William Bull of Cardington, gentleman, "The Originall is in the Ecclesiasticall Court at Bedford" - to his son William all his real estate subject to limitations; - to his wife Alice, for her life, his dwellinghouse in Cardington in occupation of John Wright, labourer; - to his wife one third of rents etc. of all his real estate for her life; - 10 per annum to his son William to pay interest on 200 bequeathed to testator's daughter Alice; - to his daughter Alice 200 with 5% interest until paid, in default she should have all pasture and arable ground in Cardington purchased by testator's father William from John Shugsborough, late of Bedford, tanner and of Thomas Foster; - his household goods to be divided equally between his wife, son William and daughter Alice; - bound to his son-in-law Thomas Halsey of St.Ives [Huntingdonshire], grocer for payment of 100 which should be paid out of his personal estate; - 100 to his daughter Mary, wife of Thomas Halsey to be paid out of personal estate, secured with interest by son William; - to his sister Elizabeth, wife of John Larkins of Cardington one guinea; - 40/- to the poor of Cardington to be distributed at Easter; - one third of residue of his estate to his wife; - two thirds of residue of his estate to son William; - son William to be sole executor; - witnesses: Sandra Foster; Francis Walker junior; Thomas Howerd
